If you haven't paid your 2008 club dues, you can still do so. A single membership is $5.00 a calendar year, and a family membership is $7.00. If paying by check please make the check out to Bob Mercando and NOT the Susquehanna trailers. Please pay: Bob Mercando, 66 Shoemaker Street, Forty Fort, PA 18704. Please check the current membership list to see if your address or other information is correct.

At the last Trailers meeting, officers and members discussed giving new hikers a copy of the club rules on their first hike. This will be up to the discretion of the hike leader.

President Rich McNulty wants to remind members that footwear is an important part of being properly prepared for a hike.

President Rich McNulty reminded members that if there is any question about a hike cancellation, it is the member's responsibility to check with the hike leader. The leaders' phone numbers are posted with the hike information.

PLEASE READ the SIGNS

Frances Slocum State Park has areas that allow hunting. These areas are posted, but not everyone is aware of that some trails are in the hunting area. For your safety, pay attention to the signs when hiking. Maps are available at the park office.
